I’m so happy to tell you that my solo exhibition, titled Ametsak, will be opening soon, on December 4th, at Euskal Etxea Madrid. Ametsak means “dreams” in Basque, and in my exhibition, nature and city come together, with the free and trusting gaze of a dreaming child. I’m currently finalizing the details. Preparing an exhibition involves much more than just the artist producing the artwork, and even if it were only that, it wouldn’t be a small thing.
An exhibition involves conceptualizing the show, promoting it, transporting the artwork, installing it, finalizing details like the slats on the pieces, and preparing for the opening day. I’m excited to be preparing it and excited to share it with you.
