We are in September, a month of projects, challenges and charged batteries; Also in the Madrid art circuit the season begins, with energy and renewed enthusiasm and one of the proposals on the calendar, every year, after the holidays, is Art Battalion, an art festival promoted by the White Lab gallery in which encourages experimentation and research by artists and which this year reaches its eighth edition.
Last year I was able to attend the festival and enjoyed the proposals of the selected artists, in a creative, fun and magical environment, with a great organizational team and artists who decided to leave their comfort zone and experiment, because that is what encourages Art Battalion. With that good memory I decided, before the summer, to present my project to the festival and the festival’s organizational team, after evaluating my proposal, decided to count on me for this challenge, for which I am grateful and very happy to announce my participation in the VIII edition. by Art Battalion.
These last few weeks have been one of intense work, setbacks and final satisfaction after hard work. I don’t want to tell you too much about the work I’m presenting, since it will be exhibited in a few days at the festival, but I will tell you that it is titled “Puzzle”, and that, as its name indicates, it offers the possibility of creating a whole with the pieces of that we will have. I would like to involve viewers with my work; The work does not offer a single ending but, like life, continues to surprise and everyone chooses their own path. That is my proposal and this is what I have been working on in recent weeks, leaving the comfort zone.
This year, the festival is held at the Camilo José Cela University, at C/ Juan Hurtado de Mendoza 4, in Madrid and the opening will take place on September 12. Below is a link to purchase tickets:
