On December 13th, I was interviewed by Natxo Arteta in the auditorium of the Euskal Etxea in Madrid, in connection with my solo exhibition held the previous month at the Basque center. The interview, more than a formal interview, was a relaxed and informal conversation among friends, with the audience even having the opportunity to participate.
It was a joy for me to share my thoughts and reflections on my work with everyone present. Among other things, we discussed the life of an artist, the difficulties and challenges it presents, my artistic process, art in general, and the current art scene. Natxo, who is also an artist, understands the intricacies and challenges of this world and guided the interview masterfully. The audience included other artists, friends, artist friends, art lovers, a gallery owner, and members of the general public. Afterwards, a large group of us continued the festivities at the Euskal Etxea with a Christmas celebration. A wonderful afternoon of art and friendship! Here’s a fun video of it.
