It’s not as though I ever really left, but it’s true that when there’s an event or an exhibition, the creative pace slows down. These days, I’m once again fully focused on creating, and, as always, those thoughts arise that you have to listen to, but not too much. Not too much because, although it’s good to have doubts about whether I should do this or that, doubt ultimately paralyzes me, and I’d rather get moving.
After all, art is a bit like everything else: if you spend your whole life thinking about how to start a project, you end up never starting it. That doesn’t mean you should do things recklessly, of course. A little planning never hurts, although at this point, I’m relying more on intuition.
